Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the NextShelf iOS application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the App.

2. License

The App is licensed (not sold) to you for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard End User License Agreement which is part of these Terms by reference.

3. Subscriptions and tips

NextShelf offers an optional auto-renewable annual subscription ("NextShelf Pro") and optional one-time tip purchases. All payments are handled by Apple.

About NextShelf Pro:

Subscription length: 1 year, auto-renewing.
Includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial).
Auto-renews 24 hours before the period ends unless cancelled. Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel the subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
Refunds for subscriptions and tips are handled by Apple per their policy; NextShelf cannot issue refunds directly.

About tips:

Tips are voluntary one-time purchases that do not unlock any features.
Tips are non-refundable except through Apple's refund process.

4. Your data

Your library and session data is stored locally on your device. We have no servers and do not access your data. See the Privacy Policy for details.

You are responsible for backing up your data using the App's export features if you want a copy off the device.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use the App at your own risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither NextShelf nor its creator will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and noted in App Store release notes when significant.
